Nomination of workmen for SHRAM AWARDS to be given on the occassion of International Labour Day

The Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has decided to celebrate International Labour Day on 1st May 2017 and Hon’ble Collector/Labour Commissioner, Dadra & Nagar Haveli has issued an order bearing No. ADM/Coll/Misc./2017/55, dtd: 24.04.2017 in respect of “SHRAM AWARDS”. The scanned copy of the order is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
It is decided by the Administration that 25 workmen will be honoured by “SHRAM AWARDS” on 1st May 2017 i.e. International Labour Day for their outstanding performance, devotion to duty, specific contribution in the field of productivity, innovative abilities, safety, etc.
All the colleague industries are requested to nominate (maximum two) names of their workmen (Manual, Unskilled, Skilled, Technical, Operational or Clerical duties and excludes Managers and Supervisors) in the prescribed format so as to reach the office of the Labour Inspector on or before 28th April 2017.
