Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Press Release No. ADM/LAW/Roads/60/2020/3360 dated 26.08.2020 issued by the Dr. Apurva Sharma, Resident Deputy Collector (S) / SDM, UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
Due to the heavy monsoon rains, the roads in Silvassa Town Area are deteriorating to the extent where the roads have become prone to accidents, cause for traffic jam and an overall nuisance to the public especially the service roads at the flyovers which under construction at the Samarvarni and Piparia.
However, the Office of the District Magistrate/ Collector, DNH, took up the matter and issued orders under section 133 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, upon the concerned contractor and directed to repair the roads at the said flyovers within 24 hours.......TO READ THE PRESS RELEASE IN DETAIL PLEASE CLICK HERE.
