Widening of existing NH848A road from Rakholi bridge to Khadoli and up to Velugam DNH Border.

Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Preliminary Notification No. LAQ/NH848A/ PWD/Road/41/2020/329/2020 dated 10/12/2020. issued by Hon’ble Collector, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa.
Vide the said Notification it is proposed to acquire total 368535 Sq.mt of land for widening of existing NH848A road from Rakholi bridge to Khadoli and up to Velugam D&NH Border.
As per the Notification, Social Impact Assessment study was carried out by SIA Team constituted vide order dated 19.05.2020. Total 368535 Sq.mt of land is required in Vasona, Dapada, Khadoli, Surangi, Apti and Velugam village of DNH for public purpose namely, for the widening of existing NH 848A Road Rakholi Bridge to Khadoli up to Velugam DNH Border.
Therefore, it is notified that for the above said project in the Vasona, Dapada, Khadoli, Surangi, Apti and Velugam villages of- the Dadra and Nagar Haveli District piece of land, whose detail description is enclosed as Annexure-I and is also mentioned in the Social Impact Assessment (SIA) report, is under acquisition.
A plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the District Collector, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvassa and Resident Deputy Collector {Silvassa). Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvassa on any working day during working hours.
Under section 11(4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e. sale/purchase, etc., or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of such notification without prior approval of the Collector.
Objections to the acquisition, if any, may be filed by the person interested within 60 (Sixty days) from the date of publication of this notification as provided under section 15 of the Act before District Collector.
A plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the District Collector, DNH and Resident Deputy Collector, Silvassa on any working day during office hours.
In this regard, objections to the acquisition, if any may be filed by the person (interested) within 60 (sixty) days from the date of publication of the Notification (Date of Notification is 10/12/2020) as provided under Section 15 of the Act before District Collector, DNH.

All the Land Holders, whose land is alongside existing NH 848A are requested to go through the Notification. And if has any objection against the acquisition, such objection may be filed before the authority in the prescribed time.
